Every year we hire a team who are ready to take on this ministry opportunity, serving our campers and their families, providing them with the best camping experience possible. It is our goal and mission to raise up and train a staff that we feel confident will lead a fun-filled camp environment for hundreds of campers this summer!

Support Roles

Do you have a week that you’d like to offer to Camp? Help with one of the specialty camps? Spend a week as a chaplain or as Camp Nurse.

LIT Program

The LIT (Leader-in-Training) program at Camp Medley, ages 15-16, emphasizes the development of skills specific for Christian Camping Leadership. LITs will spend 3-weeks at camp for training, mentoring and practical hands on experience. During the program, there will be a wide range of opportunities including being a cabin leader assistant, living in community, and working on a team.

Successful applicants will be required to be present at all of Staff Training Week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need a criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance?

Yes! ALL of our staff and volunteers (ages 18+) are required to have completed a criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance. If you come on staff we will provide you what you need for this process.

Is there an interview process?

Hiring our Camp Staff and LITs is something we do with great care. It is very important that we have an opportunity to get to know all of our applicants as best we can, to ensure we put together a team that will work together well, and carry out the mission of camp medley for our campers. Selected candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview.

How will I know my application went through?

When you have completed and submitted your application, you will receive an automated message from the application portal. If you did not receive one, contact us at director@campmedley.ca.

Can I start the application and come back to it later?

Yes, you can return to your application. You will need to set up an account, which will enable you to log-in to your account. A current resume will be required when your application is complete – this is uploaded through the same portal.
